Munich, Germany
Welcome to Munich!
Welcome to Munich! Our tour begins at Marienplatz, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. Here you will find many cafes, shops, and Neoclassical-style buildings.
On the square is also the famous Frauenkirche church — one of the symbols of Munich. This Gothic church with two high towers served as the religious center of the city for many centuries. Its interior is particularly interesting, having remained virtually unchanged since its construction in the 15th century.
From Marienplatz, you can take a stroll through the historic center of the city, where you will see many buildings in Baroque and Rococo styles. You can also visit the Munich Residence — one of the largest palaces in Europe, where museums and art collections are located.
After Marienplatz and Frauenkirche, we will take a walk through Viktualienmarkt — a large market where you will find a wide selection of fresh produce, souvenirs, and delicacies. Here you can buy fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, bread, and many other products offered from all over Bavaria and Germany. In addition, there are many cafes and restaurants where you can taste Bavarian delicacies such as roasted potatoes, sausages, dumplings, and of course, beer. If you have time, I recommend stopping for lunch or a snack at one of the restaurants in the market.
After visiting Viktualienmarkt, we will continue our tour to see other iconic places in Munich.
After enjoying a meal at a traditional Bavarian tavern, we suggest heading to the Bavarian National Museum. This museum is one of the largest collections of cultural and historical artifacts in Germany. You’ll see exhibits related to the history of Bavaria and Germany from ancient times to the present day.
Next, we’ll head to the Englischer Garten — the largest urban park in Munich, where you can enjoy beautiful nature and even swim in the Isar River. If you love extreme sports, you’ll also enjoy surfing on an artificial wave, which is also available in this park.
Then we’ll head to the Bavarian Museum of Folk Culture. This museum is located in the heart of the city and is a unique monument to Bavarian culture. In the museum’s exposition, you’ll see a collection of household items and crafts, as well as samples of folk art.
Here, you’ll learn more about Bavarian culture and traditions, as well as the history of the region. You’ll get to know the lives of Bavarian peasants and craftsmen, learn about local cuisine and customs.
The Bavarian Museum of Folk Culture is an excellent place to immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Bavaria and understand its cultural heritage.
Finishing our tour, we suggest heading to the Englischer Garten, one of the largest urban parks in the world. Here you can enjoy beautiful nature and a peaceful atmosphere, as well as swim in the Isar River or even try your hand at surfing on an artificial wave. This is a great way to relax and unwind after our packed tour.
In conclusion, Munich is an amazing city that offers a variety of entertainment for tourists. Here you can enjoy beautiful architecture, rich history, traditional cuisine, and natural attractions. We hope that our tour will help you plan an unforgettable vacation in Munich and leave you with many bright impressions.
